Technology has seeped into the very fabric of who we are both personally and professionally. We are all on, what seems to many of us, tenuous ground as we try to navigate how to live personally within an increasingly transparent world as well as how to adapt professionally to the tele-health formats that are available and evolving rapidly. This 90-minute teleconference will be a format within which to discuss how technology and social media is impacting us as clinicians and group psychotherapists.
This teleconference is complimentary for AGPA Members. For details and to register, log in and visit the AGPA Online CE Center. This teleconference will be conducted via Zoom, which allows for both audio and video participation. Due to the format, registration will close Friday, December 9 at 4:00 PM (Eastern). Registration for this teleconference is limited and may close early if maximum capacity is reached. This event will be recorded and made available for distribution for educational purposes.
Learning Objectives The attendee will be able to: 1. Identify the key challenges that clinicians face in the rapidly evolving world of tele-health and social media formats. 2. Specify the essential guidelines for utilizing tele-health in group therapy as well as other clinical modalities. 3. State how to set functional boundaries both personally and professionally within social media formats.
