This webinar will explore how group dynamics can be seen through the lens of interpersonal theory. It will explain how the interpersonal circumplex can be used to understand the deep structure of the motivations of individual members; how this then leads to productive or problematic group dynamics and what this means for the group leader. The presenter will utilize clinical examples to demonstrate how understanding these forces can be used to enhance group leadership by predicting into group dynamic changes as group events unfold.
