How We Talk About the Power and Value of Group

It can be challenging to clearly and consistently articulate the power and value of group. Please join AGPS at this year's Annual Meeting, which will include a panel discussion focused on the ways we talk about the value of group therapy with prospective members, clients, professional colleagues, and our personal community. Panelists Katie Griffin, Jeffrey Hudson, Randy Frasier, and Tammy Brown will consider how their experiences with groups affect the way they see and talk about the power of group. Small group breakout sessions will provide participants with opportunities to continue the dialogue regarding how AGPS as an organization and we, ourselves, can meaningfully share ideas about the power of group with others.

The panel discussion will be preceded by the business portion of the meeting, during which Incoming President Scott Phillips and the AGPS board will share organizational progress, successes, and changes from the past year, as well as goals for the coming year. Outgoing Treasurer John Cooper will give an overview of the financial health of our organization.
