Global Calendar
Wednesday, June 3
Time: 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Event: Weekly Online DROP-IN SUPPORT GROUP
Description:

Aloha Colleagues:

Hope you are all doing well in this “new Normal”.  COVID-19 has profoundly changed the way we work, live, and relate to others. These changes are disruptive, disorienting and incredibly stressful.

•To better understand these changes and support each other we are beginning a weekly online DROP-IN SUPPORT GROUP meeting exclusively for Behavioral Health Providers.

Group will be led with rotating facilitation by HIGPS members (see members below).

Group will begin next week Wednesday June 3 from 1:00-2:00 PM via ZOOM (see link below) and on Wednesdays 1:00-2:00 PM thereafter.  We look forward to your joining us.

Group is drop-in, available for connecting with others, to chat/vent/share your questions, thoughts, feelings, concerns, especially with regards to the current pandemic we are all struggling with.

Therapy is changing. This is a chat group about that change and is not for therapy itself. There will be no record keeping of attendance or of what may be discussed and there is no commitment about attendance.   Attendees are welcome to stay as long as they wish and to come as often as they like. There is no need to talk nor to show yourself on video.  It is fine to just be present and to listen. Please respect confidentiality to the greatest extent possible, not disclosing who spoke, nor what topics were spoken about and details of what was said.

The goals of the group are:

•to create a safe place to connect and/or dialogue,

•to provide attendees with mutual aid and support with a sense of safety and belonging,

•to provide a venue for information sharing and development of coping strategies, and

•to maintain resiliency and prevent burnout now and post-pandemic.

You may also feel free to contact us.  See phone numbers and emails below in order to share whatever is on your mind or if you’d like to set up a time to speak individually.  If there are other forms of support which you think may be valuable, please let us know what these might be.

We look forward to connecting with you!
