Psychodynamic concepts including transference, individual and group resistance and defense mechanisms will be examined as they emerge in the group process. The contribution of the leader to the development of a cohesive and functional group will be examined. There may be some short didactic lectures, but the bulk of the time will be spent in the experiential mode.
