Each moment of group leadership offers us an existential choice with endless possibilities actions. The exponential expansion in psychological theory and research adds complexity and possibilities. As leaders, we may choose from established approaches (Psychoanalytic traditions, CBT, Mindfulness), integrate emerging theories (Relational-Cultural, Context-Responsive and Post-postmodern theories), and/or create something new. After a brief didactic introduction, an experiential exercise informed by a demo group will aim to help attendees explore and expand their leadership interventions.
Participation for members is free. Participation for nonmembers is $80.00. 2.0 CE credits are available at $40 for members or $80.00 for nonmembers.
